Psych 20 - Your test marks are posted! If you wrote your test in the learning centre you will have to wait another day - sorry! The class average was a 68.8% which surprised me. The test data I received by examining which questions you got wrong showed me that you are not applying your knowledge to new situations. Psychology is all about applications - you can memorize a definition but you need to be able to apply meaning to it and how it works in real life. This is an encoding issue! Please write down EXAMPLES of every term we go over in class so you can easily generalize it to new and novel situations.

We did the lateral thinking test, which will lead us into tomorrow's mini unit on thinking. We will be starting behaviour disorders by Friday or next Monday at the latest.
